Don’t be confused, of course, you are not a plant. But we are not so different neither!

You see, plants are living things just like us that have multicellular function and they grow, reproduce, and use energy just as we do. Why is this important? Let me explain…

It is important to look at ourselves like plants sometimes in order to take better care of our primary needs. If you are someone who loves to garden and loves seeing plants all around you might start to see where I am going with this.

Plants need sunlight, water, nutrition and if you did high school science experiments as I did, they love music as well. Aside from them not having features like us to help them move about, they are not that different from us. Which comes to the most important message is that we (like plants) NEED sunlight, water, nutrition, and sometimes music!

If you have health problems, I guarantee you that one of these aspects is missing in your life and instead of only fixing the “seen” problem at hand, always start from the root of the problem. Are you getting enough sunlight? Are you drinking enough water? Are you feeding yourself food that actually gives you nutrients? If not then, what are you doing?

Every day you water your plants and you care for it. You give it enough sunlight and sometimes the soil needs nourishing. Why are we not doing the same things to ourselves?

You don’t need to drink all those liters of water. It is quite annoying to always pee. But drink enough that your skin feels full and you are not dry inside. I’ve suffered from eczema a few times since moving to France and I’ve come to realize how little water I drink during winter because it’s cold and you never feel thirsty but your body needs it more than you realize. (Taking a gulp of water as I am typing…)

Beach tanning might be a bit excessive but get 10-20 mins of sunlight a day is GOOD for you. Get that vitamin D yo! Fruits that are exposed to more sunlight contain much more vitamins in them. Even free-range chickens that have their eggs exposed to more sunlight contain more vitamins in them. All those farmed eggs locked away from sunlight has NO (nada, zero, rien) vitamins in them at all.

“The simplest answer is often the most correct.”

We ARE Plants! Act like one!
