If you want to be great, are you ready for the biggest challenges in your life?
You can look up any incredible success stories of survival and accomplishments and see what they all have in common. Their biggest struggle. If not of pain and suffering, then death. So as you sit and feel unaccomplished and mediocre, maybe its not such a bad thing…
But feel lucky that you have challenges in life even if it might not be as big as death because in that it feeds us fear and that is the only force that pushes humans to grow. You don’t have to be happy about those challenges, don’t get me wrong, it would be sadistic and insane to pleasure in pain. The focus should be on the fact that even in that moment of trouble you are lucky. Why?
People who stay the same, in the same place, without problems to solve hasn’t evolve much in life.
A wise friend of mine shared her thoughts, saying that, those who are born without struggle is like the universe/god doesn’t believe that they can survive pain. Therefore, life has been very kind and vigilant towards them. On the other hand, those who are put to face problems and pain is a test given to them because the universe/god knows that they can triumph.
Every hero, intellectuals, inventors, artist or anyone who left a big footprint on earth has a long story of struggle and pain behind them. We all want to be great but are you ready for the price you have to pay? Nothing drives us like the fire within and those who have a good life often not achieve a huge mark.
Don’t freak out. Being normal and happy is amazing too but if you want to find greatness and big achievements, you ought to go out into the world and find struggles, unless of course it’s already given to you. Older generations do not understand that by providing everything a child needs to grow up is taking away the fire they need to succeed in life and become something great. Had Stephen Hawking give up in life and not fight to share the world his intellect then the understanding we have of our universe today might be entirely different.
This brings up many more questions and debate about life if whether then we should eliminate all disabilities etc. Can you imagine a world without sickness, pain and worries? I think that would be quite dull and insane.
