We are fighting for equality between men and women in standard, opportunity and lifestyle. Problem is, many confuse those with extreme ideas and we need to clarify those behaviors. These are some guidelines to keep it classy yet a free, sophisticated woman.

Don’t be an attention whore. It’s bad enough that people are talking behind your back about your bad choices and bad personalities (no one is perfect), don’t give those people more ideas. Keep it classy and wait to be complimented, greeted or acknowledged. You won’t be appreciated if you keep calling it out.

Don’t overshare. There’s already Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and now people are sharing on Linkedin? Keep your private details of your life, private. If I haven’t seen you naked, almost naked, or pissed drunk, we are not yet besties! A little secrecy kills nobody.

Don’t act out. We all got needs, some more than others. Imagine a guy whose intention is only to get in your pants, he’s a douchebag. Don’t be a douchebag. Treat others the way you want to be treated. If sex is all you want, at least have some integrity and make it clear.

Don’t always expect men to pay. You can do the classic move of swiveling through your Dora explorer bag but don’t always depend on men to pay. There are two results to this. One, you cross-check if the guy is capable of taking care of you in the future if needed. Two, you don’t seem like a clingy, dependent woman who might be a gold-digger (no judgment, men can be one too). And third, you end up paying and there will be no second date in the near future with that person.

Don’t dress like a girl and start dressing like a lady. Now I have basically done all of the above to say that these golden rules work! Not that you can’t, but the first impression is everything and you meet new people every day. Trust me, I wore the shortest shorts and slimmest shirt in my 34C cup bra. What I learned is that, you do not want creepy stares and you appreciate your body and beauty much more when dressed moderately covered. You don’t see Audrey Hepburn running around in bikini size tops and camel toe pants, just saying.

Now go out to the world while keeping it classy!

  2. Can I simply say what a relief to uncover somebody who actually understands
what they’re discussing over the internet.
You definitely understand how to bring an issue to light and make it important.

A lot more people really need to read this and understand this side of the story.

I can’t believe you aren’t more popular since you definitely have the gift.

  3. Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just
your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything.
Nevertheless think about if you added some great graphics or video clips to give your posts
more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with
images and clips, this website could undeniably be one of the most beneficial in its field.

    Superb blog!
