Yes, you are exactly what you eat and the disease you might develop comes from nowhere but within!
We’ve heard this phrase many, many times yet we don’t really perceive it as a sense of alarm. You are what you EAT! There are constantly new studies and scientific research to back this up yet why can’t be find a better system. Well, because those unhealthy stuff are made so tasty that as human, we are too weak to walk away from.
Have you been wondering why you have weird out breaks? Your skin is suddenly allergic to something you’ve never been allergic too? Have you developed eczema?! These are the very question you should think about but most importantly to ask yourself how healthy have you been eating?
Gut bacteria or gut flora is like a community in our digestive system that provides good bacteria for our body and our immune system. Every time we eat unhealthy, processed food, sugar, wheat etc. our body is function to take those out, that’s simple. However, what happens when there’s too much of it and your body cannot get rid of it? Imagine your toilet is clog… there’s no way left but up. Yes, it is gross and you should feel gross because that is exactly what happens to our body when we can’t flush out all the bad stuff. It goes all back into our body and into our blood stream.
Now, luckily, our body is such a magnificent being that it knows what is bad and still tries to flush it out so the only other exit is through our skin, the biggest organ of the body.
I learnt all these facts from my own health issue which is eczema. Long story short, I dislike taking hard medicine like antibiotics and steroid cream which is what most doctor prescribe eczema patient. So, I turned to research and learnt about leaky-gut syndrome and although it does not exactly fit what I had it explained a lot about our body. I did eat healthy, I thought. I ate tons of vegetables, proteins and avoided sugar but I forgot about the other bad stuff I should have avoided. Wine, cheese, dairy and wheat (bread, pasta). Anyways, you can go on and do your own research about the food you should eat to provide good bacteria for your gut, anti-inflammatory food and gluten-free diet.
Our body work just the way it should but if we don’t help it out and flush down too many toxic foods then you might face some problem. The skin is just the beginning and feel lucky because it’s the easiest sign to start fixing things but you don’t want to face more serious issues like cancer, diabetes, arthritis etc. from chronic inflammation.
