Have you ever come across this kind of T-shirt in Spain? Well, life wasn’t too far from that reality there. That could be one of the reasons why I fell deeply in love with this amazing country.

THERE IS A LOT of drinking involved. How can you not, when a bottle of wine is basically almost the same price as water? You just have to! Sangria is like magic, as you can drink them endlessly and still survive the day without a hangover (at least most of the time). Plus, people drink at the park! It is illegal but “come on’ you’re in Spain,” said the local who poured more sangria into my plastic cup. Basically, drinking is just something you’ve got to indulge in here, no questions asked.

Eating? Tapas? Heaven! Did you know that the reason it’s called Tapas was that they needed to cover their glasses during the summer from flies and bugs that would fall into the drink? That got boring, so they added food on top of it. Now, well, it’s basically just eating with drinking! Life is so good!

And the fucking part? Let me just say, if you’ve never had a Spanish lover, you are missing out on some great summer romance. Although it was definitely just a summer fling, they treat you right. Men actually take you out on a nice dinner date, even if you both know it’s just casual sex. Still, the gesture is a real turn-on for the ladies (*wink*wink*). And well, sex is just fun with the Spaniards. No wonder people got that Hispanic fever. It is caliente people!
