Is love enough to sustain a relationship?

I thought that the answer is no. That love is not enough but then that would go against everything I believe love to be so I question the main subject of the question, what is love to us?

The thing with love is that, although its definition can be found in the dictionary which is “An intense feeling of deep affection”. But love is actually unique to each individual because the love they’ve received from their family and friends sets the tone of their definition of love since they begin to understand things. Therefore to ask if love is enough you have to understand the definition of love from the person you are with.

We all have our own expectation of what love gives and takes in a relationship. You are competing with the love they’ve had from their families and friends and if you are with someone who has a good foundation of love then be ready to make as much effort to meet the means.

See, love is enough but the actions that proves the love is different from each and every one of us. Some people lack confidence and so they seek that love of support. Some people lack affection and so they seek that passionate love. Whatever it is only you can interpret what is expected from this ‘action of love’.

Love is such a broad term that means so differently to each person. But if that love matches then great things can happen.

So to answer, is love enough to sustain a relationship? Yes, it is. But that love have to match the expectation. Maybe you are expecting way to much out of blindness or maybe you have really low expectations because no one has meet the means, either ways before even stepping in a relationship you need to learn how to love.
